Spring/Summer '07 Collection
The original concept collection. This was first launched as a full collection at London Fashion Week in September 2000.
The collection was named ‘Fifi does Xanadu’ and used strong references from the 50’s and 80’s, bold colours and an ironic sense of humour. Following collections such as ‘Buttons and Bows,’ ‘Best of Breed,’ and ‘Tartan and Tiaras’ continued in this retrospective approach to design, and threw a romantic element of old fashioned story-telling into the mix.
Quirky humour and femininity became a staple and an obvious sense of heritage has lent a true British feel to the handwriting of the brand. With those foundations in place, Sara Berman has evolved into a truly creative brand with a strong sense of identity and recognisable handwriting.
